Every friendship is an investment. There’s a lot of connecting done,
bonding, sharing of common interests, secrets, etc. But when things go
wrong between us and our friends, it is sad to note that all the things
solidly put in will just fall into places. Well, the cliche “some good
things last” ring true. Sad, isn’t it? But it’s true. Things like this
happens. You’ve made an effort to go through the process of making
friends, then when due to some reason un-avoided (often times, over
petty things), friendship reach a dead end. The result: tension,
wounded pride, etc. Is there a way for which reconnection can be done?
Of course, there is. It would be a long process. Shake off the
incident, bounce back, but yes, the key here is to FORGIVE, until we
find our selves trusting one another again. Let’s value relationships,
especially with our friends. No man is an island, remember? We are all
connected like the island in the seas and oceans. Someday somehow, even
when we wander, we still hit the shore.
